In late May, the Rotary District 6910 Peacebuilding Committee received exciting news that could shape the future of peace education throughout our district. District 6910 was selected as one of a limited number of teams across North America to participate in the Rotarians for Peace Design Sprint, an innovative initiative presented by the Rotary Action Group for Peace.
When most people think about Rotary service, they picture backpack drives, food pantries, park cleanups, or home repair projects. Those are meaningful ways we serve our communities, but to start this year I’d like to challenge every Rotary club in District 6910 to ask an important question: How are we improving the health of women and children in our communities?
