Feed10Million

One of the key initiatives for Rotary this year is the Feed10Million Campaign for Zones 33 and 34. It’s an effort to provide 10 million meals to families in need across the over 1700 Rotary Clubs that make up basically the eastern seaboard of the United States. For District 6910 we have set a BIG GOAL of providing One Million Meals!! Why so big? Because our friends and neighbors in District 6910 need our help. Prior to the COVID crisis the number of people in our District who were considered food insecure (not sure where their next meal is coming from) was estimated to be 362,270. However, now with COVID the projection is 67% higher or 540,720, with more than 200,000 being children.

So how are we going to reach our One Million Meals goal? The good news is we are “people of action” and here is what your Club can do.

  • Feed10Million Club Champion – We are asking each Club to identify a Feed10Million Champion. This Champion will help set the Club’s goal, create a plan and log progress along the way. Just have your Champion register by clicking on this link.
  • Log your meal projects - Remember in Rotary it doesn’t count until the paperwork is done so click here to log your meals each time you complete a project.

Together we can be people of action and together we can provide One Million Meals to our friends and neighbors in District 6910!
